JOSHUA'S RIDE This website was originally designed for Joshua and his family in response to many questions regarding Josh's disease. The goal of this website is to create a better understanding of Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD), and what this disease has been like for Josh and his family. Joshua began his Bone Marrow Transplant treatment in May 2009, receiving a Bone Marrow Transplant from an unrelated donor. This transplant was deemed a failed attempt, and he began to prepare for his second transplant. His second transplant took place on March 12, 2010. Our Joshua fought so hard and has shown strength far beyond what we can imagine. Josh lost his battle to Chronic Granulomatous Disease on April 05, 2010. |
